A Song For Kami - Wings of a Butterfly by Shio Yee

This is for Kami, from Malice Mizer. A divine human being with a tremendous talent of playing the drums, a big heart, an irreplaceable presence. This song is written for this wonderful being who touched us all.

I apologize if the lyrics are dissapointing, these are the things I say to him.

Kami had a special interest towards butterflies. It is said that he would buy anything with a butterfly print on it. Butterfly wings to me are mysterious, unique and the beauty is priceless. So was Kami.

Kami's hair was really long, the pictures you see in the video are all pictures of Kami with his real hair. About one year before the date of his passing he chopped it off much shorter. I wrote "Let us all remember, the way your tress extended" because I will always remember his long, long hair.

Kami was the drummer of the japanese Band Malice Mizer. He was the purple butterfly of the band that's why the title is called "Wings of a butterfly". He was a wonderful person! He died very young and his death was unexpectedly. The text fits so incredibly well to Kami!
