simple pic based LED controller
16F627 @4Mhz( internal OSC)
CCS code is randomly lights LED sequences for emulating fireflies behaves.
it's realized with few resistors and 6 LEDs, it doesn't even need a pcb for working...
original code used a more complex structure allowing blur effects by sigma/delta PWM. due to PIC's limited hardware resources it couldn't be possible to be executed... it needs some code optimizations

  • @Icewind007 nice question! you have to know that it was the first idea, i implemented a firmware for doing it in a pseudorandom way, since this microcontroller doesn't have enough hardware resources i had to abolish the fading idea.... next model will be much better, i'll post some video asap!! anyway stay tuned : xene [dot] it
