  • Very interesting project. Well done. This gives great encouragment to take on a job like this

  • Thank you for looking in. I have the camper back on my truck for the winter that will hit here this week, I have it parked on the side of the house after cutting a fence post out re-framing a section to swing out and the old man gate 4 foot wide swings in so I can now park the truck and camper along the side of the house. It is dry now and I insulated a few corners and around the door and along the roof edge. I will get it insulated and some inside paneling cut and fitted. Don

  • The camper was free and now it is no longer Sh.. ! Thanks for the comment. DT

  • @MrBigdog320

Most people are like this today. Personally if someone gave me a ran down house on a piece of land for free I'd gladly accept it, and spend my extra money working on the house myself, then in a few years either sell that house and property or just keep it and live there the rest of my life.

Its projects like this that give me ideas on my camp trailer which the previous owner practically destroyed and I am piecing it back together.

  • Thumbs up for Ford!

  • @huntersingle Let me guess. You're a product of the U.S. public education system, right?

  • so funny beaners love walls to tagg on and you honkeys love campers and trailers fuck its so funny

  • @sok8888 What would be the fun of buying a brand new camper :D, Not to be harsh or anything but, I guess you're the type of person that don't wont to put effort and money into an old camper/house/cars etc, You just wont everything to be new and working right then and there well let me to you this son, It don't work like that anymore

  • Why? All these effort and money, you could bought a brand new camper.

  • very cool

  • Nice job !

  • Wow you have taken on quite a task, in the end you surely will have something way better than factory built! I look fwd to seeing the out come, I have fooled around with a few truck campers, like rebuilding the corners for proper and better jack attachment, as in 2x4 reinforced corners, with long carriage bolts and fender washers to attach the jacks brackets. See first the camper actually fell over on its side, and it took alot of effort and 2 days later to get it back on my truck.

  • Excellent job. I picked up a few ideas for my conversion. Nice commentary, 5 stars!
