Yes thats correct. Lewis naturally did not have the greatest defence. His hands were quite low usually and his defence was his head body movement. That point said, i show his chin even more respect...

I am still amazed at how Tua gave his best shots in the first two rounds and Lewis is barely hurt.

This should clear all the dumbass accusations that Lewis is a "glass jawed coward".

@kuluku Word bro.

My main reaction to this is--boy was Lewis easy to hit at times. Even journeymen made him swallow big stuff.

thats easy to understand, you see if you have a peanut of a brain the acceleration and deceleration caused by the punch is not enough for the peanut to hit the walls of the skull, simple isnt it?

@balesy1974 oh yeah, best heavies come from the commonwealth brah! ali was overatted!

BourbonJRA is right, Lennox Lewis was paid off for years NOT to fight Tyson, basically because Lennox would have still KOed Tyson out sooner rather than later.
Strange how all the Lennox Lewis haters tend to be english hating yanks! It must get right up their arses that none of the heavyweight champions are americans!
I hate it when people talk boxing that don't know it. Those were hard punches, Lewis did show he had a good chin afterall. The times he was stopped he was just vastly overconfident and let himself get nailed by suprise shots. Against Vitali here he was getting tagged, but saw the punches (most of them) and absorbed them. BOth guys hit good, Lennox was one of the most massive punchers in history.
