Self-Portrait:1800 Photos (Version 1)

A stop-animation video done w/1800 photographs. The first batch of 900 photos of myself and the second batch of 900 photos w/me holding a photo of myself :) I would like to push this concept further by shooting another batch of 900 photos of myself holding the photo that has me holding a photo of myself :D Yeah, tedious, time-consuming, and a bit pricy......but fun to watch the results :D

I can say I've learned so much through the process and have more ideas I would like to push further using the stop-animation/photography way of story-telling......or at least create something that is interesting and fun to watch and leaves you wondering, "how was that done?" :D

I will post Version 2 as soon as I find the time to work on it and see what can happen when I add the next 900 photos :)

Sorry for the delay....thank-you so much! I appreciate your feedback and the music came from Prefuse73 but I'm not sure what the song is called. I found it by accident actually....I loved the song and looped parts of the song and added a few extra sound effects using GarageBand to fit my video :) Hope that answers your questions :) Thanks again!

hi claudia! you can see me briefly at the fox fine arts building if you look up brett powers. i've always liked the trippy music on your video. try taking 900 photos of your daughter next time, one a day, like a time lapse record of her growth. now that would be a trip.

i love this video! very interesting! theres alot of self-portrait vidz on here, one person just shone a light on their face! lol yours has got to be one of the best, as well as mine! lol what software did you use to get the double photo effect? are you doing a digital media course?
