  • I have a question. I bought a screen printed shirt at a festival and when I wash it, a little of the ink (red) comes off and colors my other clothes with pink spots. I trust the guy who screen printed that shirt. He looks like he experienced, and he had many shirts in his booth too. Do you guys know any ink that will come off or how I can wash my shirt without the colors coming off? I'm planning to print shirts soon and I would like to know a little about screen printing.

  • Chances are the guy you bought the shirt from didn't use the right kind of ink. You need to make sure you use ink specially designed for fabric. And also make sure you don't use too much ink on the shirt.

  • what kind of ink are you using?

  • quick question....after putting on the fabric paint do you have to let it dry a certain way like with a certain light or can you just let it air dry

  • Can you put lighter ink on darker fabrics? Does that work? I'm assuming the fabric works best if it's cotton. Would other types of fabric work too? Also I'm thinking of Wayne's world for some reason :P

  • how much money approxamately

  • Getting started with all new equipment can be expensive. But the screens are reusable, and the ink will go along way if you know how to use it.

  • how much would all of this cost?

  • it has nothing to do with the wash the ink wasnt cured enough so its gonna wash out if the ink is cured it wont wash out

  • it has nothing to do with the wash the ink wasn't cured enough. if u need help let me know.

  • how about the basic procedure???

if we dont have a light using to mark the silk screen???
