those little pigs got me last night in Waldo....

@vonkruel Show where you got your numbers. Where is the study that back these numbers up? I know there is no study. You just made these numbers up. Why not try doing something productive for mankind instead of harassing the police.
-
@vonkruel Actually it's the lower 5-10% and the upper 5-10% who are the problem - there's not a full 30% of drivers who really are unsafe based on their speed. Anyway I think speed limits that are set reasonably are helpful, but when they're set too low, they're entirely unhelpful (can actually INCREASE accidents), and they're destructive in ways that are hard to measure. When you get a ticket from the police that you know is complete bullshit, what are you supposed to think?
-
@TheChampionInMe It sucks when their job is to enforce a speed limit deliberately set far below the 85th percentile. Speed limits that are set too low turn a large number of safe drivers into "offenders", and have little if any effect on the speed driven by motorists. Enforcement should focus on the 15% of drivers who drive insanely slow and the 15% of drivers who drive unnecessarily fast. Those are the people whose behavior actually creates unsafe conditions on the roadways.

If your living you in constant fear of those annoying pesky speed traps, try using a box of (Trap-B-Gone) scoot on over to your local roofing yard and get a box of (Metal Roofing Cap Nails) personally: I prefer the economical 50lb box myself it treats multiple infected areas, a few robust handfuls scattered vigorously and your problem is all gone! It like garlic to vampires can’t run someone down to give them a ticket if you’re at the tire store! Works like a champ!

So, where's Waldo?
-
yeah so ummmm, if you could come up here to Birmingham and film a similar video, that would be great...thaaannkks! (I warn you though, it may take a few years to film them all...they are very creative up here )

@HONORYOUROATH Right now I don't have a video camera worth the shots. I'm actually looking to invest in small digital one. I really need to get Fruitland on video since there the worst down here. They have a royal blue uc charger, two uc trailblazers, two full time k-9 units, a motor unit (LT Cutter), and a load of marked units. As for Belleview there rolling with fewer units but man there sneaky. One sits close to car lot just past an overpass shooting laser. People never see him until well...
These videos should not be taken for granted, there dead on. I travel the 441/301 corridor for work several times a month. In 129.4 miles this is what I encounter and mind you all with traps. Mt Dora PD, Eustis PD, Tavares PD, Lake County, Leesburg, Fruitland Park, Lady Lake, Marion Cty, Belleview, Ocala PD, Alachua County, Waldo, Hampton, Starke PD, Bradford County, Lawtey, Clay County, Duval County, and the Florida Highway Patrol. The worst are Waldo, Hampton, Lawtey, Fruitland, and Belleview.

@bgt420 Hey don't forget FDOT, they are thick between Lawtey and Baldwin on 301. Now FDOT and FHP have merged and I have noticed FDOT pulling over more 4 wheelers since the merge. Also be careful of school speed zone hours! The fines are doubled if you get a ticket through a school zone.
BGT420 why don't you do some of your own videos on Fruitland and Bellview?

I lived in a small town all the cops use to set up right in the parking lane 4 ways flashing head lights on and radar set to run. The cop was writing 20 to 30 speed tickets a day 15 mhp over limit. Plus other assorted traffic law violations. The only thing he did not do is put a bill board announcing that he was working.

@samten10a Yeah I know what you mean.Waldo has plenty of warnings. All of the speed signs are clearly marked with yellow tops. The Waldo P.D puts up the electric road signs warning people not to speed.AAA actually has billboards north and south of Waldo warning of the speed trap.Waldo also has yellow topped road signs that say SPEED STRICTLY ENFORCED.But people still speed and people still get speeding tickets.
Sigh...oh well what can you do?

Nothing better to do I guess then harass the police for doing their job.

@TheChampionInMe You consider filming the police from a safe distance without interfering harassment?
