Murph was let go by Channel 7 several years ago and Channel 4 let go of their Sports director to get Murph..it was a good move..I never watch channel 7 news..channel 2 and 4 are way better.

God Bless Terry Pegula and Tom Golisano. Golisano saved the club (with Bettman) and I have to love Pegula's emotion regarding the old stars. Only a Buffalonian can appreciate wy he broke down when he saw Gil. AWESOME!

@MrJbrew66 I agree 100%. I live on the NORTH shore of Lake Ontario but I don't care where you're from if you're that passionate about hockey. I get shivers when I see him tear up talking about Gilbert Perrault. Hockey belongs in Buffalo FOREVER even though I bleed Maple Leaf blue. \

I may live in queens but i am a die hard Sabres fan. This is the kind of owner that is needed. One who has passion for the sport and isn't afraid to open up the checkbook. LETS GO SABRES!!!!!!!!!

I get chills....almost gave up so many times but now?  Wow, I am so excited. Perrault was my hero too--still is. I've watched 40 years and have never felt this sense of "it's gonna happen". Jumping up and down in delight is great exercise! You had us at "hello" Terry!
