This is a video of the Parkzone P-51D Brushless Bind-n-fly model airplane. I have about 10 flights on this model so far and I really like it. The video has a title that says stock but I just remembered I did add the optional rudder servo (about a 15 minute task). This plane flies great and looks really good in the air. I'm very happy with it. I like it without the landing gear. It comes with a plastic belly plate for landings without damage to the airframe (no landing gear comes with the kit). I already removed the gear from my Parkzone Corsair because I liked how much it looked in the air without the gear too. This is a Bind-n-fly model which means if you already own a Spektrum radio you just Bind the model to your transmitter and go fly. Spektrum with "Model Match" is the way to go. I saw one crash and one near crash today at the field with Futaba 2.4ghz transmitters where the owner selected the wrong model. If you do that with a Spektrum radio your plane won't fly so you know somethings wrong before disaster strikes.

  • nice flying ! can you put landing gear on it ?

  • @booke685 Thank you. Yes I suppose you could but it's so easy to hand launch and looks so good without the gear I would never put gear on myself.

  • Hi, How long is running time with stock Batt? Can you fly it slow untill get use of it or do you have to go fast all the time? what about landing can you slow it wright down when landing? and last Q what kind of wind speed in nots is ideal for this plane?

Nice flying by the way. well done.

    Joe..

  • Thanks for the compliments. I haven't timed the flights. I use 1800 and 2200 mah batteries so they vary a bit. It's at least 8 minutes but that's dependant on throttle. It will fly slow. I don't know wind speed in knots but 10 mph is fine for me. It depends on your flying experience. It's a great plane. Inverted slow descents into the wind look pretty cool with the gull wing.

  • Nice plane, nice flight. I enjoyed watching it!

  • Of course the new BF109 is going to be ever better!!!!

  • Thank you. I agree it is a very nice plane. It flies great. Lot's of folks complained because Parkzone came out with a Mustang update rather than something new. They're missing out on a great plane. It's my first Mustang and it's a keeper!

  • Do it!! It's currently my favorite. It's an amazing package for the price too.

  • Nice flight! Way to show out with some nice scale maneuvers. Makes me want to go fly mine now!

  • Very nice video ! Great flying .. I got the P-51D from Art-tech and it flies just as nice. Can't wait to see more. Thanks ! (you can check my vids of the P-51D as well).
