Giant pneumatic walker, testing to see if it can raise on its own. Started as a 6 legged walker however was too unstable. Also had to half Lego length. Major issue with turntables breaking

it'd be my pleasure. i've bent a few ears, myself, in learning the craft.

  • @KEvronista We going to need to have a chat about clocks when I finished this project!

    a "45 second minute"

they'll beat a pathway to your door!

a simple correction is to add a 4:3 (16t:12t) gear reduction to the drive; turn that 45 secs into a minute.

  • @KEvronista Your clocks are fantastic, I had a go at making one ages ago and failed, Only because the programming I used to work out RPM did not support decimal points and ended up with a 45 second minute

i've got to throw together my grasshopper clock. i've built the escapement and i've finally got a robin remontoire i can live with. it promises to be a daunting task; i've just got to muster the will to tackle it. i've also gathered the necessary elements to construct a rolling ball clock, but that project's living on the back burner.

  • @KEvronista lol so whats next on your build list

    "do you have Skype?"

i barely have the intertoobs, bub. i find that internet forums such as youtube and eurobricks provide me the sufficient conduits for communication. anything more would be just another confounded electronic doodad with which to frustrate myself.

the clip is from "young frankemstein". after demonstrating the creature's dubious ambulatory prowess, they follow with a soft-shoe duet. i thought it was appropriate to this video. heh!

  • @KEvronista lol fair point mate. So what you up to, do you have Skype?

  • @burf2000

    "random link"

you just remember that link when the townfolk come after you and and your creatures with pitch forks and torches!
