We didn't break the server record, but we did okay. The only death was our 68SMN. :( I also took a Howling Moon to the face and survived!

Nope, Summoners use Leviathan against Fenrir because Spinning Dive is a single-hit, yet does consistent damage.

Predator Claws' damage is a bit random against higher level mobs and you don't want to run out of mp before Fenrir's dead.

ahhhh ofcourse multiple hit attacks may miss and the damage won't be as consistant as a single hit attack of the same power, i kinda feel sorry for the people who spam rush with shiva lol, have you merited all the attack for avatars? i've had trouble finding vid's with them attack :(

Rush isn't too bad once you have decent accuracy, but I think Predator Claws still does the best damage.

I have 2 avatar atk merits, 3 avatar acc, 1 avatar magic atk (it will be raised to 2 someday), and 3 magic acc merits.

I've used Rush on some Soulflayers before and when all hits landed, it would do comparable damage to Predator Claws :D

Are you referring to the merited bloodpacts?

I only have Meteor Strike and Geocrush :\

Do you still play? I just recently started and I'm a Black Mage (level 3) on Phoenix. So far it's not bad, but it is a change from WoW. Pretty epic fight there...was reading about summoners and how they have to earn avatars.

Nice to meet you! And yup, I still play... Although not as much as I used to. I have a 75 PUP and 75 SMN, which are my highest jobs, along with various other lower level ones. How do you like it so far? FFXI's a lot different from WoW since it's a bit more team-driven, but it's still a good game once you get into the storyline.

this fight was so annoying just like how this kid seemed was. and ff11 sucked...i lost so much life spending time on crafting and just leveling my smn.
