  • Goran Bregovic (yugoslav - serbian and croat descendent), voice suport from Bulgaria (super voices), Yael Badash (very good looking!) from Israel, singing a romanian traditional song (watch?v=hocO4aU53GY) in Istanbul (the "most" balcanic city...) .... just perfect. Hai Gorane!

  • ... and vice versa... it's the Balkans buddy, before you arrived - people had distinct music style. And it doesn't change in mountains and villages as easy. Then again, everyone was influencing everyone - since ancient times.

Maria Tanase - Bun îi vinul ghiurghiuliu [cules toamna prin târziu]

This is an old Romanian folk song in rithm of "geampara", specific to Dobrogea (The territory between Danube and the Romanian Black Sea coast) which suffered a strong turkish influence along the history.

  • Balkan at its best and the jews belong to the Balkan culture! Give me another place in Europe with a bigger mixture of culture!
