Well, I did say with my last remix that it would probably be my last dip into Wise's DKC2 soundtrack. Lately I've been writing a lot more original pop, dance, and house tracks. This obviously isn't an original, but I felt the instant I heard it that I needed to cover it. I'm remotely satisfied with the way it came out, only wish that the vocals could have been a bit cleaner. Oh well, all in good time.

Well, holy hell this was hard. I spent countless hours writing this, mostly working with the vocals. And I'm still not entirely pleased with them. The instrumentation is kind of fun, although this song uses over 40 tracks, and around 18 or 19 instances of NI Massive.

All in all, I ended up recorded 588 vocal takes while scrapping and redoing the vocals over and over and over and over again. The project folder is 1.34GB.
