Hey Baby A Jonas Love Story Chapter 6

Recap: Joe and Trixie are gonna go to Miley's party. Now I remember why I stopped giving recaps. I'm terrible at it. Btw Trixie's outfit is in the video.

Trixie's POV
Trixie: What do I wear?
Joe: I don't know Twix. You'll look gorgeous in anything.
When I recovered from the major butterflies that gave me, I groaned. That is NOT supposed to give me butterflies.
Trixie: Joey, I'm doing this for you so you better get your ass over here a help me.
Joe: Okay, okay. Just a sec.
I hung up and began pulling all the clothes out of my closet.
Joe's POV
I hopped over our wall and crossed Trix's lawn. I got the key from the mouth of the little turtle figurine on the porch to unlock the door. I closed the door behind me and stopped by the kitchen. I took a Powerade out of the fridge.(AN: As you can see, Powerade is their of choice.) I took a long sip of it then stuck it on my shelf. Yes, I have a shelf. I'm at her house so much that I practically live there. When I got upstairs I realized how quiet the house was. It was 6:30, but her mom was supposed to get home at 5:00. I shrugged it off and opened Trix's door. Trixie was in basketball shorts and a bra. My face felt hot. She was jumping up and down for god knows what reason. This wasn't a big deal. I'd seen her in a bra and underwear before, although that was an accident. I knew Trix was gorgeous. She always had been, but at that moment, she was making my pulse race. I found it hard to speak. She put her arm around my waist and dragged me to her bed. She pushed me onto her purple bedspread. I ran different scenarios through my mind. All ended in things I should never think about doing with my best friend.
Trixie: Okay now help me!
Joe: H-help you?
Trixie: Clothes, duh.
Well duh Joe! What else could she want help with? You're so stupid.
I was still leaning back, practically lying down. Trix reached over me to get a shirt from the end of her bed. Her stomach was near my face and my breath came out unevenly. She glanced at my face as she got off the bed. There was a flash of confusion, but then she just pulled on her shirt.
Trixie: How bout this one?
She was wearing a black shirt that said INVINCIBLE.
Joe: It's- y-you look
Form a freakin' sentence, you idiot! Trixie is your best friend. You've never had trouble talking to her before. I was still yelling at myself in my head when Trixie put her hands on my shoulders. She looked into my eyes.
Trixie: Joey? What's wrong?
Joe: Nothing!
She looked surprised.
Joe: Sorry. I didn't mean to bite your head off. I'm just...
Trixie: No, no. It's okay. So... How about these black skinny jeans and the red heels?
Joe: That's perfect.
She twirled her finger to tell me to turn around. I did as I was told. When she made an ehem sound, I turned back to her.
Joe: You look perfect. Wait. Almost perfect.
I grabbed her checkerboard jacket and went behind her to put it on her. I pulled her hair from her jacket, letting it fall along her back. The scent of her peach shampoo drifted to my nose. It was intoxicating and I closed my eyes to inhale the sweet aroma. Apparently, Trixie hadn't noticed my weirdness. I could never say any of the things I was feeling to her. It would just have to be a secret.
Trixie: You gonna wear that to the party?
She brought me out of my trance.
Joe: N-no. I have to change.
Trixie: Well, let's go to your house then.
Trixie's POV
Joe went to his room to change and I hung in the kitchen with Kevin and Nick. They were fighting over what candy was better.
Kevin: Reeses!
Nick: Whoppers!
Kevin: Reeses!
Nick: Whopper-
Trixie: You two are seriously fighting over candy?
They looked embarrassed. I shrugged.
Trixie: Candy does make the world go round.
Nick: I thought you said James Marsden makes the world go round.
Trixie: Him too.
Kevin laughed his adorable laugh and made me weak in the knees.
Nick: Why do you look so pretty? I mean, not that you don't normally look pretty. I just mean-
Trixie: I get it Nick.
Kevin: Very smooth Mr. President.
Trixie: Joe and I are going to this stupid party. That reminds me. Can we borrow the Mustang?
Nick: Sure, but why are you going if you think it's stupid?
Trixie: Joe is kinda hard to say no to.
Kevin smirked at me. I glared. I don't love Joe. Then he came downstairs looking absolutely adorable. Don't even go there Trixie.

Yeah, so I'm stopping there. The fight over the candies was actually real. Rowann and Kim were fighting. I said what Trixie said. So yeah... I'm suddenly in a very good mood. I don't know why. I'm just like jumpy. Too much pent up energy I think.
