extremely well balanced, almost too malty. Had a nice sweetness to it hence the high abv which needs more sugars in order to ferment into the 11% beer it is.

  • Honestly Southern Tier hasn't blown me away with anything of theirs other than the "Choklat" stout which is heavenly. Not as good as Rogues Double chocolate but comes in a very close second. Oak aged unearthly is to sweet and boozy, I did like the particular bourbon flavor it took on but other than that it's a bit sickening. I like their "Iniquity" imperial black ale though as well. Their vanilla bean stout is over the top sickening sweet. I'm not a big fan of Southern Tier over all.

  • a great blend you can make is Southern Tier's Creme Brulee and their Choklat. I wish they would bottle it like that blended.

  • Can;t wait to try this one.Great job guys.

  • you guys look soo baked. great review. dude, you should make that sick ass black and tan and review it!
