@29Gixxer a few shows produced by Thames made it to the US with the end-stinger intact. I think people might remember it standing out for being extremely "British" in nature, despite the fact not too many programs here had it :)

From what I am aware of yes because sky wasn't around (well not like now anyway) in those days and Thamse was a TV producing firm.

Was only on British tv? I wouldn't remember anyway I was born 85, but the music does sound familiar.

This is the reaction I would expect from an American because it's an old TV clip in and between TV programmes from the 1980's. The uploader is Yank tho which surprised me :0 I can't remember when this was removed from the TV although it must of ben the mid to late 80's. Happy memories...the days of no work and all play :)
