Days of Our Lives - The Murder of Curtis Brown - Nov. 8th 1993 - Part 4

Continued from Part 3.

I figured since I'm posting the Who Killed Curtis Brown storyline, I should also post the episodes leading up to and including his murder.

I'll be posting full episodes here because most of the plot deals with the murder, and I know there are other characters people may be interested in (also, I'm too lazy to clip them).

This episode includes the end of Bo's costume party, Shawn-D in spandex, Carrie and Austin angst, Curtis terrorizing Billie, The Dimeras, Roman and John as buddies, and Kristen and John.

What was the difference between the billie reed/curtis brown situation and nicole walker/paul mendez?

Not much besides the fact that the Billie/Curtis story took place earlier and had different characters. Since this story was pretty popular, I think with Nicole/Paul they were trying to get the same attention and ratings that they had when this aired.

The Nicole/Paul situation was a regurgitation of Billie and Curtis as there were WAY too many similarities between those relationships. I have to say, however, that despite both characters being creeps the actor who played Paul was way cuter! LOL - 'course, I was in my early 20s during the Curtis Brown storyline and early 30s during Paul and Nicole, so that probably has a lot to do with my opinion.

Curtis is fabulously horrible, isn't he. :) I suspect that the recent Trent Robbins storyline was an attempt to recreate some of this, but it didn't work nearly as well.
