"When You Believe" is the Official Movie Soundtrack of Prince of Egypt.

In the film, this song of inspiration is performed by the characters Tzipporah (Michelle Pfeiffer) and Miriam (sung by Sally Dworsky). The protagonists of this ballad recall tough times that have them questioning their faith: they have prayed for many nights to God but those prayers seem to remain unanswered, and they wonder if they are wasting their time. Nevertheless, they realize that although times may be difficult, "there can be miracles when you believe" in God.

  • When this movie came out, I remember having a character crush on Moses.

    I'm going strait to hell, aren't I?

  • To say that the Jewish people deserved what happened is disgusting! I am Jewish & my grandfather suffered through the Holocaust. Seeing his family murdered in a concentration camp & almost dying in a labor camp at 11 haunts him. What happened is inhumane! People are bringing Palestine into this but not ALL Jews support what is happening!! Its like saying the majority of people in jail are Christian so all are bad! We cannot group people and hold such hate otherwise we are creating World War 3!

  • @atheist382 You have no proof, and yet you act as if your facts are based on education. You don't even have enough information to form a hypothesis, but I can tell you miracles happen every day. Even my brother who was said to never make it past the age of 10 is showing Dr.s that they were wrong.

Its wrong to look down on others because of the things they believe in. I am friends with plenty of atheists and not ONCE have they spoke down to me like you have in your comment.

  • @2012kingmalik Very True, everyone should always hope for the better, I was just saying that we have another good song, but its for Christmas :D

  • @Aviriorix This song cant be confined to any religion. It's universal.

  • And I present you world, the one good song my people have created that is actually for our own religion.

  • I'm a total atheist but I love this song, and it still has a totally powerful message. :)

  • @atheist382 yeah muuuuuuuuuuuch better. You know the big bang theory? You know how "great" science explains how the matter came to be? why the big bang even happened? things popping out of nowhere?

but of coooouuuurse believing in something higher than us having made it is not even half as logical as that -.-

  • whenever i listen to this song my dad comes to mind... im 11 and just recently my dad got a severe form of cancer but this song reminds me that there is a possibility of him getting cancer and maybe god will help

  • @TheKaryl88 He doesn't want that either because he loves you and wants the best for you. But if we deny Him on earth He will deny us in Heaven.... I hope u dont get mad at me i am just stating my point just as you did your's.
