Pussy Riot verdict: Full video of announcement at Moscow court

Moscow's Khamovnichesky Court is announcing its verdict in the trial of punk rock protesters Pussy Riot. The three members of the band have been awaiting the decision since February, when the group staged a controversial protest in Moscow's Christ the Savior Cathedral prior to Russia's presidential elections.

Pussy Riot deserved to be jailed for their odious act of desecrating a Church. I'm not a religious person by any stretch of the imagination but no spiritual citadel such as the one they desecrated ought to be subjected to such depravity and indignity. Jailing them was absolutely correct and I commend the Russian judiciary for it.
