Problem here, is that civilisation is only a thin veneer on the surface and can only be evolved with education and understanding.
It is not just Christians, we are all failing.

the westren bank is divided,.the big palestinian cities are rulled by the PALESTINIAN AUTHORITY lead by the PLO.
the rest of the westren bank is dominated or by israel or by the palestinians.
so it's not an occupation.
There are no troops on active duty anywhere on the island of Ireland and if a majority of people in Northern Ireland ever wanted to leave the UK and join the Republic of Ireland then they would be allowed to do so.
That is NOT an occupation!!
There are no troops on active duty in Northern Ireland and the majority of people in NI want it to remain part of the UK.
If a majority there ever wanted to join the Republic then it would happen with the blessings of the British government and people. That doesn't sound like an occupation by an evil foreign force to me.
