Assisted Chin Ups with Bands by a 300 Lb Fat Man

I perform some assisted chin ups using Iron Woody Fitness bands. It's my first time, so my form is bad. I also talk about the challenge that spawned this whole chin up video. This video is a month old, but I have my reasons for posting it so late. I wanted to be able to look back and see where I started from. Glad I could find a video like this! I've been thinking about purchasing these bands for pull ups and chin ups. Couple of questions: What part of the body do you put the opposite end of the band (i.e., around the shins, around one shin, around the foot soles, around one foot sole)? Also, I read that the loop u used can actually take away a lot of strength from a strap. Is that still true with bands? Either way, I find that loop u used the most convenient.

Iron Woody Assisted Pull-up Package. I think i'm try to get a single #4 (the green one you got) since i'm just 150 lbs but I can't do pull ups yet either. You have the mentality down so just stick to the routine you choose and you should be able to hit your goal.

i weight 240 and i can do 10 chin ups and its good to see a person over my weight doing pull ups

I'm going to use inverted rows myself. Then when I can do 3x10 with my legs horizontal I'll try chinups. Bands seem very nice tho'.

I'm really thinking of getting those straps but they are pretty pricey...I see stuff around for 15 bucks but not exactly like those. Keep up the hard work :)
