CVPS & Trees Incorporated make a fine job of repairing a power line at the height of tropical storm Irene, as it swept over Vermont on Sunday 28th August 2011.
The power line had been downed by a falling branch, in an impressive display of arcing flames and huge sparks, leaving a live line draped over a tree in the front yard.
The song you can hear in the background is the Delmore Brothers' classic "Deep River Blues", played and sung by Michel Griffin, with Frenchie Degre on the harmonica. The tune is featured on Michel Griffin's live album "Ballades & Blues', which you can sample and download at http://www.MichelGriffin.com .
It was recorded by Marcel Degre live at the Cahors Folk Club in SW France.
this is the best face one could put on a tropical storm! Kepp up the singin/ and playin"
