Leyland Fleetline MBE613R on the Titan Farewell Tour

I couldn't resist a ride on this fantastic looking Roe bodied Leyland Fleetline whilst on the Titan Farewell Tour on Merseyside as this vehicle had come all the way from Chesterfield to take part in the running day it was too good an opportunity to miss.

i live near chesterfield ive actually never seen this bus in chesterfield

There were Stagecoach drivers from Chesterfield there on that day too. This bus is I believe stored in Chesterfield over the winter but I could be wrong. Certainly it was going round Liverpool displaying Chesterfield!

The bus is actually still owned by Stagecoach and runs an open top service, but the driver may be an enthusiast, as drivers on their days off were driving at the event, so he may have his own bus preserved.

its stored in chesterfiled its a prevesed bus it belonged 2 gct before stage coach took over was in service till 2005 then it was replaced by a newer bus as she was getting 2 old that was what chesterfiled said i use 2 love driving her

This is not a DMS fleetline but a one time Grismby-Cleethorpes Roe boded vehicle that passed to Stagecoach East Midlands with the sale of that business having been used on the Cleethorpes see front service. To my knowledge it is retained by SEM as a special events vehicle.

um....CMB of HK used to have 1 demonstrator of Leyland Titan and then on the .luxury service rt 260.

I'm still curious to know which gearbox were used in Titan.

I hate people like this. They don't know a thing and there telling drivers how to change gear. Haven't seen many broken gearboxes due to not pausing my self.. must be an NBC thing!
