The diagonal wood chop works your oblique muscles. You can do side chops a few ways, using a dumbbell, cable machine, resistance band, or medicine ball. Here it is shown using a dumbbell.

  • feet should be planted, your working obliques, let them do the work not your hips, also the head needs to follow your shoulders up for full extension.
