  • Wow, superb content.

  • I've lived sporadically w/out certain types of technology - 2 yrs w/out tv to be exact - and found that our life as a family unit was much more relaxed and peaceful. If limiting just that one area can bring such ease of life, imagine what type of daily existence these Amish experience. Relaxed, lots of conversation, time for family and friends, accomplishment of projects, etc. This is life style I could embrace.

  • @psb1964 Amish people can wear glasses. IDK about hearing aids.

  • Wow, evolutionists will believe anything. What a bunch of dolts they are. Do yourself a favor and read a few of A. E. Wilder-Smith books and also Robert Dick Wilson's book "A Scientific Investigation of the Old Testament". Do you know that Noah's Ark was discovered? Also, Sodom and Gomorrah, the Red Sea crossing site, the real Mount Sinai the Ark of the Covenant? Yes, the proof is there. All one must do is seek.

  • bwah hah hah. daniel dennett is cool, his interview on the atheism tapes is good.

  • Who else clicked on this video because they thought Daniel Dennett was in it?!?!

  • I am studying for an MTh and doing a dissertation on the echoes of the Radical Reformation in new churches in Scotland in the 21st century. This broadcast has been very helpful and informative. Thanks for making it available.

  • I am afraid of the Amish. Why do they hate America?

  • They can't justify not using the modern technology...they use technology too. They DO have a point however that if they integrate, they would lose their way of life.

They are a sheltered people and peer pressure would be the death of their community as they know it.
