Pretty pictures...but a terrible country. Crime ridden to the max.
If you don't HAVE to go there, go elsewhere.
I was almost killed at the hands of my captors. I was taken a hostage for over 10 days in La Ceiba over money. I was beaten and left alone to bleed. And the police is nothing but an extension of the crime itself.
DO NOT WASTE TIME AND YOUR LIFE TO GO TO HONDURAS!!

A very violent country...Hounduras is a VERY violent country.
I was taken a hostage for over 10 days in a remote part of town in La Ceiba, for money.
Had I paid my captors what they demanded over what they took from my wallet, they would have killed me so there wouldn't be a trace of their crime. I got away...I am NOT going back!! NEVER!
