  • *raises hand* other than guessing, is there an easier way to figure out how to find the common denominator? You said that often times you can multiply the two denominators to get the common, but that it's different with larger numbers. Could you explain a little more about that? And am I correct in saying that this is what your problem should look like: 1/3 + 1/4 = 4/12 + 3/12 = 7/12?
