iPhone 4 Randomly Displaying Temp Warning

My brand new iPhone 4 keeps displaying the temp warning when it's not even hot.

Note: it says "Cingular" as the carrier name only because i restored from my 3GS backup and that had a Cingular sim card.

If I am not mistaking, your phone says cingular as your phone carrier. Where are you from? Have you been able to unlock your iPhone?

macbook pros overheat a lot maybe you kept it to long in that spot and it make the phone hot

i think your laptop mite of did it because laptop some times mess with lots of thinks

My iPod touch 4g heats up every time I play with it and I put it in the freezer

The problem is thay radiation from the laptop has triggerd the over heat sensors inside your iphone it may have even burn them, try taking it to the apple store & Good Luck my friend :)
