  • Fantastic! My blue vinyl version is unplayable now - Do you not have the entire concert as, sadly my favourite parts aren't on this extract. Brilliant quality, thanks for uploading it!

  • @thekwaze I never got round to 'remastering' the entire concert but if you do a Google search for "dexondaz" "blogspot" "Zappa" "pauley pavillion" you'll find the blog I originally grabbed the source MP3 files from. All 1 hr 48 mins of the same audience recording which they used for the old vinyl boots - and lots more.

Alternatively, sign up with Zappateers for uncompressed audio of the same.

  • @sotcaadotnet

Many thanks for the info - I'm already signed up to Zappateers but didn't realise it was on there - Doh!!

  • Truly a fantastic concert. Furs and diamonds (Zubins fans) mingling with barefoot and beads (Franks fans). The whole orchestra did many strange things while playing this. From the trombonists twirling around with their instruments over their heads to the violins throwing playing cards all over the place.

After the concert the parking structures erupted with a cacophony of everyone, I mean everyone spontaneously honking their horns.

    Awesome night.

  • Super The sound is good. Do you exist a complete version of this concert?????

  • Along with Hot Rats At The Olympic and Poot Face Boogie it was one of the first of what ulitmately became many great (and many not so great) Frank Zappa bootleg releases. Good job on the remaster! My grainy TMOQ copy (green vinyl) from 1975 doesn't give it the justice that your version does!.

  • Hi SOTCAA - this one sounds really good, thanks! Isn't it available somewhere, on some torrent page, maybe?...
