Think, Why?.
There is a 92% downward trend to LisaNova?
You Be the Judge

It is easy to see who is more talented. Nat makes you smile and laugh when you watch her vids, Lisa makes you wonder why you watched her vids. Nat is talented and super cool.

You guys perpetuate this false image about Saint Natalie. You ever see her rip apart Blue of the NoHoGirls? How is that any different than LN mocking Loca or Nat? "Pot calling the kettle black" is the operative term.

Well done Melissa, it's nice to see a well put together point of view, for a change. 5 stars.

funny and smart....

you guys have to remember that natalie wasn't talking TO lisanova. she didn't want to contact her personally. she wanted to show youtubers the issues and used lisanova as an example.
geez!

i disagree.

I disagree with your position on LN. She is a comic who does parodies, unlike Natalie who is a blogger. They are separate styles. Saying LN shouldn't do scathing parodies of Natalie and LL is like saying Saturday Nite Live and most other comedy shows should be illegal. I think that would be a great loss.

she was including herself in a party. it makes sence to say "we" since she was not hust speaking for herself.

nice :)
I wanted to correct the fact of something you mentioned about slander and libel. Legally, the difference btw the two terms is that slander is perceived by the ear - usually understood by people as oral utterance, whereas libel is something perceived by the eyes - usually something written. Thus, if Natalie's oral comments about Lisa were false and defamatory, they were be considered slander, and not libel, because you would need to use your ears to gain knowledge of them, not your eyes.

<i>"The common law origins of defamation lie in the torts of slander (harmful statement in a transitory form, especially speech) and libel (harmful statement in a fixed medium, especially writing but also a picture, sign, or electronic broadcast), each of which gives a common law right of action.</i>

Hey Melissa, I'm in 100 percent agreement with you on this. Natalie made a valid point in a reasonable manner, and Lisa's choice to respond in an immature fashion was definitely the wrong decision.

I'm glad I'm not the only one! Like I said, I still think Lisa's hilarious, but now I question her judgment personally. Not very level-headed, or so it seems. For what it's worth, I'm still subscribed to her because I think she's funny.
