i believe that whenever the federal govt steps back and actually respects the rights and the powers of the states, it's a good thing. it makes no sense to me how something like weed, or thc, that you can't even overdose on can be classified as an illicit drug in the first place. making criminals out of people who aren't really criminals is basically how the prison industrial complex works, and it's not right.

The current laws regarding marijuana are a product of the Nixon administration that put pot on a "schedule 1" status that supposedly makes it as dangerous as heroin which is crap as is known world wide except for assholes that are in bed with the pharmaceudicals and special interests that want to control what people do. Meth and cocaine are schedule 2 drugs so the feds are saying that grass is worse than those two. It's high time to change the laws.

Anything do with higher consciousness and more understanding of self the goverment has on their illegal list. After all, it was right wing extremist Christians that Banned MJ in first place. Dismantle the DEA and send them to unemployment lines, or better yet, let the big tough agents really go undercover and dig ditches for a living. Then when they have a blown disc in back, they will need Medical MariJuana!
