I wish you all would grow up and realize the kind of man you're defending. Someone who didn't care enough about his family to stick around when there were drugs to be had. Didn't care enough about his friends to try to get clean when he could be doing morphine instead. Couldn't even mask his own conceitedness in the end. No one should be respected just because they are dead.
