@avrilstorm Hi! The first one is from Vale Abraão (Abraham's Valley) and the second one is from 'Non', ou A Vã Glória de Mandar (No, or the Vain Glory of Command). You're welcome! :)

Hello! I'd like to know the title of a film of Manoel de Oliveira. I've seen only a frame in this video. There is a family in a morning room. A man takes from a girl's womb a cat and throws it away.
Then I'd like to know the title of another film of Oliveira in which are many little angels (or cupids) with curly hair.
Thank you very much!

Kornspel: I happened to find that out when I looked for the tracks on a music site. :D Amazing how well it fits with the imagery and I'm sure it wasn't easy to sync them together.
Cannot wait to see more of de Oliveira's films [or hear Nyman's music, for that matter.] ;)

@NGS712 No. The tracks are from Jane Campion's "The Piano" and Peter Greenaway's "A Zed & Two Noughts". At first I actually tried to make the tribute using Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata (the track Oliveira used at the end of "Abraham's Valley"), but I couldn't make it work. And at the time I was kind of obsessed with Michael Nyman, particularly with his score for Gattaca, so I ended up using his tracks.
Thanks :)

Since I've only seen one de Oliveira film so far I'm curious, are the Nyman tracks from a film of his?
Nonetheless, an excellent video. :)
Hi again! This is still the best tribute compilation video i've seen- so elegant, so brilliantly edited and excellent choice of music. Oliveira may well be the world's greatest living director, should be a household name worldwide

@mizofan Hi! Thank you again. It means a lot. And I also have to thank you for embedding it on your list on Mubi (You’re Kenji, right?), because according to the video analytics many of its views came from there. So, thank you for that.

Kornspel thank you very much!!! ;-)
Besides I'd like to know the title of the film in which a girl is in a citrus grove.
Thanks, bye bye
