It's so strange listening to Rene's normal voice when he's in Odo makeup. It's amazing how much control and versatility he brings to Odo.

I knew that Odo's voice was not Rene's. See the French cook in Disney's "Little Mermaid"; that's also Rene. It's just ODD seeing Odo, Rene in full makeup, not doing the Odo voice, but in fact Rene's own voice. It's a culture shock.

I never realized how much of a 'character voice' he had to make for Odo, I just gained a lot of respect for this actor.

Well actually with Odo...man i'm not sure about that one since his was so...smooth...hmm...not sure.
