"Somebody's Getting Married!" - Andrew & Anna's Wedding Video with The Muppets

When we found out my brother Andrew was getting married to Anna, my other 3 brothers and I were SO excited that we finally had a reason to make our own rendition of a song from one of our favorite childhood movies and also purchase some of our own custom-made Muppets from FAO Shwartz.

Just to give a bit of context, we wanted to surprise Andrew and Anna by making it seem like we were first just playing a clip from The Muppets Take Manhattan on an old VHS, and then it dissolved into our video...and the fake-out TOTALLY worked!

Thanks to all our family and friends from around the globe who took the time to dress up like idiots and shoot a line from the song just to make the happy couple laugh. It may not be the greatest in the technical department, but dammit, it's got heart!

I watched "The Muppets" with my son today.  I was reminded of the end of "The Muppets Take Manhattan", and I immediately regretted that I didn't think to make a live-action "Somebody's Getting Married" video for my own wedding 15 years ago. I'm was quite happy to find that somebody's actually done this. Well done.
