Part 2 of 2.

I haven't finished the game yet, but here are my thoughts on Fallout 3 for the PC: the game that has consumed my soul for about two weeks now!

@IggyHazard Palin is nothing like Ellen Ripley or Sarah Conner, those two were respectable and likeable, Sarah Palin is more like a female Joseph Stalin/Osama Bin Laden, what she does to the wolves proved that. Not to mention she's annoying as all hell. Well on the bright side, she'll be fair game for me.

@Belmont2500 How so? I totally dig her survivalist philosophy. I just wish she applied it more to her everyday business instead of being all businesslike in public. We need more Sarah Connor/Ellen Ripley types. We need to burn our neckties and high heels, don black BDUs, resist all forms of globalism and internationalism, and embrace Libertarian Nationalism to restore the Republic.

If the world is a police state, then it deserves to burn.

Sarah Palin would be right at home in the Capital Wasteland, probably as the leader of her own independent faction (and by "faction," I mean "militia"), possibly allied with both the Brotherhood of Steel in the East and the New California Republic in the West. She would wear metal armor and her signature weapon would be some kind of open-sighted lever-action rifle, most likely chambered for .45-70 (and it would be called "The Alaskan" in reference to "The Virginian").

New Vegas has more logical respawn times. Fallout 3 should have had aim-down-the-sights gameplay by default (instead of requiring a mod). New Vegas corrected that. One thing that's fun to do with VATS (aside from shooting bad guys in the head) is to shoot, say, a raider in the kneecap with a pistol or revolver to cripple them so they can't escape, then run up and smash their head with a super sledge, decapitate them with a fire axe, or mutilate them with a chainsaw.
