Marr got bitch-slapped, mullered and hung out on a spindle in this interview. Very enjoyable.

Andrew Marr labours under the impression he's a serious journalist and the BBC promote him as such. The public buy it. Sad times.

Give Andrew Marr some credit....most journalists would never interview Noam Chomsky....Andrew Marr's heart is in the right place if not his mind.

Vintage Chomsky. Check out his book: 'what we say goes' or 'Understanding power' for more of the same.

One can only laugh at Andrew 'Injunction' Marr defending his journalistic integrity. Crusading, my arse.....

I have seen 'War on Democracy' and yes it's very good. 'Death of a Nation' is about East Timor?

i admire fisk too. doesn't seem to take sides, just calls it as he sees it. i recommend john pilger's documentary films (most of which are available on youtube). 'war on democracy' would be a good one to start with. and maybe, 'death of a nation'. i would be surprised if fisk wasn't an admirer of pilger (and vice versa).

Chomsky admires Robert Fisk, The Independant's Middle-East correspondent (and so do I). His book The Great War For Civilisation is great.

I don't know much about John Pilger.

i know one reporter chomsky approves of is john pilger but i can't imagine pilger trotting out anything, i've only ever read (or watched) pilger telling it as he sees it
