GTX 680M is much, much, better than the 7970M, It has higher frame rates, runs much cooler, and it provides a much better battery life.

the problem with the 7970m i even when youre getting 40+FPS in games, it just doesnt feel smooth. You could gets frames with a 680m and it just feels much more fluid. one thing to account is that frame render time in the 7970m is HUGE in comparison to the 680m thus the feel of less smooth gameplay

Yea, BF3 is badass on AMD! I had an ASUS G73 with the 5870 on it and that baby spat out over 50 FPS. I can't wait to see how many the 7970M can spit out!

Battlefield 3 doesn't use PhysX so it doesn't matter
