  • Really good. One of the hardest Concertos to keep tempo together, everybody has to keep their ears open and keep cues from everybody else. This is one of the best.

  • Very driven, muscular playing! Yet with moments of subtle beauty as well. Very different from my own interpretation, but I like this one a lot. Tops!

  • Bravo!!

  • 3:24 is fantatic.

  • yes i completely agree what a performance!

  • This is my second favourite piano concerto, after Rachmaninoff's 2nd.

My favourite moment of this concerto occurs at 2:09, when the piano abruptly switches from A major to F-sharp minor for that sequence, quite unexpectedly and beautiful all the same.

  • It was wonderful. Amir Katz's playing sparked.

  • mihogo -- it made me cry too, the first time I heard it! I love it! In a few years, perhaps, I'll play it -- and hopefully I'll be able to produce half the beauty that Amir Katz has given us here...

  • Great! The best Schumann in your hands Amir, thank you for your music!

  • Me too
