Back in the 1900's New Brighton was aplayground for Children and Adults it was known as Liverpools Playground.. It was fantastic back in the day but know look at it.. Its a shambles.. Heres a video tribute of a Resort when it was in its boom!! Come on council Make this back into the resort it was when it was big..

My confession. I was about 8 or 9 in about 1954/55. One winters day 3 of us got into tommy manns shed where the railway engines where kept. A gleaming freshly painted engine was there along with lots of tins of gloss paint . well we repainted his engine what a mess I feel so guilty still today. had we been caught a good hiding for certain. bad Birkenhead boys Very sorry. john
