I haven't done any vlogging in a while. I moved to a different State, I started a new job, etc. And a car almost hit me. I'm still so ADD when I try to do this. There are a bunch of things I wanted to mention, but I rambled instead.

I can't imagine anyone actually watching this whole thing. I find myself wondering who would care? But oh well. From now on, I'll go back to trying to keep them much shorter, tighter, and entertaining.

  • How can I spend my 5 points from reading all the tags?

    And great vid of course!

  • LOL

    And thanks!

And maybe I should come up with something. Woodenchairs has like a bazillion points for not only naming the movie quote, but the scene it was from. But that was another video.

  • Are you in a town named after a lake?

  • ...and the setting of an infamous horror movie?

...and where they filmed the quarry scene from "Groundhog Day?"

    ...maybe.

  • don't feel safe in cars, but you ride a motorcycle.. wow..

  • That shot has been played out! A light with a sky blue background(photographer). Yup yup. Good work ethics gets noticed.

  • Ah yes Parkour... I'm glad that helps u.

Knowledge of yourself & the forces in the universe tends to dispel irrational fear. Experience helps greatly to raise one's panic threshold significantly. When u have both as a rider & as a human being you become quite formidable in any endeavor ;-)

  • And I never had to get on a major highway! I mean, I couldn't have even if I wanted to anyway, but really... With a top speed of 40mph, you get *really* good at studying maps and finding shortcuts! I know Kansas City really well because of riding everywhere on my scoot. It helped so much more than my old car ever did. And it's more fun. :-)

So, yes, you and your wife should totally swing it, if you can afford to.

  • That's the best! I did that on my scoot all the time. You'll love it! A worthy investment, for sure. Kansas City is perfect for scooters. There are so many secondary and back roads to get everywhere. I once rode my scoot from my house (just west of the Grandview triangle) all the way to Blue Springs. It took over an hour, but it was so much fun!

  • Also, riding as a passenger on a gravel road is not a passion of mine. If something is a passion of yours and there's a love behind it, then you are more "driven" (heh...pun!) to conquer your fear and have success.

Love trumps fear every time. It won't cancel the fear out, but it will allow you to overcome it.
