  • thanks great vids! any tips on polishing/removing molding lines and scratches from canopies and other clear parts?

  • Oh good question. You can sand them back with progressively finer sanding pads starting from about 1200 and work up to 12000. Then give them a dunk in some Future floor polish and you'll have crystal clear canopies guaranteed.

  • Canon also manufactures small micro-fibre lens wiping clothes, these are extra fine in structure and somewhat expensive but very nice for clear parts.

  • well yes regular car wax works just fine , i use soft 99 wax its a japenese brad car wax and works fines , i even use automotive rubbing compound or finer 3M compound to smooth out the paint and remove orange peel from my models , hope it helped u

  • would regular car wax (like eagle one)work the same as the modeling wax?
