Chipo

"CHIPO" is a short film written and produced by Farai Bere, and directed by Nick Zemura.
CHIPO, the 16 year-old girl from Harare, feels doomed to a life of obscurity. A modeling contest at a club is her only way out, and her best shot at fame. Her innocence is destroyed when she finds out that her mother is having an affair. Her mother's secrets plunge her into sudden adulthood, pushing her into a secret life of her own. Ultimately, with fame in the palm of her hand, Chipo realizes that she has to make a choice on her own, without her mother's protection.
