When the KT band played pubs before 'Wuthering Heights', KT would do covers of Stones numbers as she was worried her piano ballads weren't pub rock material.
Eventually she decided to write the ultimate pub rock song - and brought the house down the first night it was played.
After about 18 months of getting it perfect in every way, she played it one last time - sit back and watch a genius at work...

I like Mylene Farmer - she IS very talented and sadly hardly ever heard of (in Britain). I think her last release (produced) here was "Moi Lolita".

I wouldn't call her a "French Kate Bush" - there are no similarities in style, so far as I can see. They are both their own woman and artiste.

I certainly would never relate either to Madonna! :-o

Amazing how sensual Kate Bush is but never vulgar. It's as if she's just always so "herself," so genuine, and definitely outside any and all trendiness.

Farmer doesn't even begin to compare to Kate Bush. If Farmer didn't have her "Svengali," Mr. L. B., her paper-thin vocals would have never been heard. Kate is genius. Yeah, Farmer is, at most, a Gallic Madonna--cheesey and a lot of garlic on her breath.

Kate is not comparable to nobody. She is one of the most intelligent composers in the last 30 years. She is a genious...between the ten greatest gods of the pop (Lennon, Gabriel, Gilmore, Townsend...)
