Unfortunatley I couldnt upload the whole song because the clip was over 100MB. I was scheduled to play a workshop for endusers in Bagkok Thailand but when I arrived the Thai distributor told me that we were shooting an instructional video next day. That was a shock and I tried hard to tun it into something useful for endusers and something decent for musicians. It was hard work because the monitor sound was not really great and the conditions for shooting a professional video were not given...anyway some songs I played turned out to be nice. I am using a PRS guitar which the Thai distributor asked me to play and a GNX3000 for ampsounds and effects. All the amps behind me are not on the whole sound comes from the DigiTech GNX3k, I love that unit, I play it live in the studio and on my recordings.

  • can you make your own drum tracks on the gnx3000? If so how do you do it? Also very nice playing man!!

  • Hi there

no this is not possible....but you can have a USB connec tion established to a computer so you make the drumtracks there and send the audio thru the USB to the monitors or amplifiers...thats works pretty easy. The drumpatterns in the GNX3000 are non-changable....you can vary speed volume and style though.

    Hope this helps

  • Are you related to Carl Gustav Jung? It would be so rock & roll

  • gnx3 needs midi cables for computer control of it, gnx 3000 is usb. digitech is best for software control of its boards, EASYon screen tweeking. boss and line6

not so much. i have both gnx3 and 3000.

you cant go wrong with these, my opinion

gnx3000 is better buy unless you need gnx3 onboard multitrack recording.

  • Both are great. Must be proof them and decided... I've see a clinic of line6 and digitech both in a music store, and I'm very impressed with 2 brands... I think that depends of your very personal "sound"

  • Thanks alot Ralf. Thanks for your reply and advice.

    rockNroll!!!

  • I do it that way and I am happy. I almost all of the time play in very controlled environments with the ability to control the sound myself or have a good engineer. If you dont have that you can always have a stage amp thru the line outs and the XLR outs for the PA so you have best out of both worlds

    Cheers

  • Me personally would go for the GNX3000....but at the end of the day it is your money that you spend so please check both units out and decide for the one which seems to be the better choice for your application

    Cheers

  • which would be better to purchase, GNX3000 or GNX3?

    tnx

  • Do you really suggest to line it in directly? Than to use an amp? Very nice tone!!! I've decided to purchase one. It'll be my first time to buy. Is GNX3000 a good choice? Need your advice though i heard it sounded well in this video.

    thanks alot..

    rockNroll!!!
