Sorry man but this is a bad card....might as well just put a manalith in your deck cause this seems pointless. (also your text is really wierd and hard to understand)
-
To be honest, even after the change it's still a pretty bad card. Sacrificing your best card in your deck, just to get a land that taps for one mana of any color?
If you can get Gemstone Caverns in your first hand, you pay a MUCH lower cost for the same effect...Plus you're limited to only running one of these per deck just so you don't risk losing the game when you play it
You should either make it one colorless AND one mana of any color, or take out the lose condition, in my opinion.
-
lol dude your txt covered up the txt of the card so you cant see the add one mana of any color to your mana pool
-
Altogether, I couldn't see this card ever making it to any pro tour or being used by any legit player for the sole reason that it allows the opponent to look through your library.
-
i think this is a crap card, because:
why should your enemy search your lib ?
if he doesnt u wasted a card and also can't play additional lands this turn
-
in the "more info" it says that the card can give 1 mana the turn it comes into play. cant basic lands do the same (except giving any mana)
please anwer
the noob
-
yea I was just saying cuz unless your opponent can destroy it (which would b kinda easy) if u have the life advantage they will have 2 worry about it or they could just simply cancel it
-
Well that would be a mostly bad idea unless you had a card that said "When you lose X life then you gain X life" Or something like that. Also, note that when saying mana costs. Land isnt the same as mana. It just produces it. So what you're actually saying is that it would cost 4BB. 4 color mana of any type and two black mana.
player A drops land, player B indicates he doesn´t need to see player A´s library, land goes to the graveyard without the chance of it being tapped for mana. Player A passes turn... Player B plays City of Brass, taps it, takes one damage and plays Birds of Paradise...
Seriously, this card sucks

I was thinking of modifying this to remove the line " if he or she doesn't then remove Valley of willows from the game"

This card doesn't seem to make sense. Why wouldn't your opponent just search for "Valley of Willows". If so, it would only be a one per deck card?

The idea is to force you to only have one in your deck so you don't make your deck too overpowered.
