Well replied and after some thought I realised that your absolutely right. so I take my hat , ( which I haven't got ) off to you, as it's original and as an artist your searching and experimenting therefore , you are reaching levels. Actually bloody original! Well done.

interesting idea... but to make money off something like this? sounds like robbery lol. if you did it just for fun thats one thing, but in my eyes i think art takes skill, this takes pushing buttons

Thanks for your comment, what you talk about is what the artwork attempts to be about. Using toys and machines my work questions the role of the artist and investigates the creative process. There is more to my work then pushing buttons, it goes beyond purely the physical actions of creating a peice of art.

This is the greatest idea, I just thought of it this afternoon and wondered if anyone had tried it yet. I just got a small
r/c car for x-mass and i am an artist and i want to explore this idea more, I have very little interest in racing r/c cars.
But this idea has room for more exploration. But in a larger format, like an 8 ft surface. I want to see sweeping
arcs. I want the cars to drive thru paint filled troughs, too.

Hi i have done some experiments on a larger scale and using a real car. There is quite a few artists now that have done similar activities using toy cars etc plus the BMW advert of course. Good luck with any exploration you try, put it on here and it would be great to watch!

I noticed by doing this it creates paintings that have no soul. No joke, they look like a robot made them & that"s the great failure in that art is the portrayal of the individuals spirit through paint , whether it be figuratif or abstract. ( my opinion) , iam an artist also. I saw your web site man you sell your stuff too cheap , maybe the prices have risen since. Best of luck and my advice throw the toys away , and paint using you as the car.

I used toys and cars in my work to investigate just what happens to a painting when a machine takes over the physical role of the artist. It's interesting you say the painting has no soul just because a machine has been apart of the process, thats just one physical role, the ideas behind the painting still flow from the artist putting my soul into the decision making process. My later videos (as this is an earlier one) show me attempting becoming "the car" also. Cheers!
