Columbia (SS) A2416 (77297) "My Old Kentucky Home" (Foster) Soprano Solo With Male Quartette, Sung by Margaret Woodrow Wilson And Quartette (Miss Ross David At the Piano). This was released sometime in late 1917. IIRC a pressing of this recording with a special label was sold to raise money for the Red cross during the World War. This pressing may be later. Played on my VV-VIa.

  • Do you know if there are recordings of her father playing violin? Thanks.

  • 759sunbeam, Thank you for watching, I don't know the answer to your question, but I'll ask around.

    Regards, J.

  • President Wilson's daughter proves to be a charming performer with excellent diction! We shall overlook her tyrannical and racist father, who ruined America forever.

  • Billyguns2, Thank you for watching. I'm pleased you enjoyed the recording.

    Regards, J.

  • Recently bought an 'ol Vic like this one at a yardsale for 5 bucks......but mine's missing the entire piece where the needle screws in,that flip-down piece, not the black/silver horn that comes up around the back.. by any chance would you know where in the world I could find a replacement?? In your opoion, do you think it would still sound decently,or make it work better if I were to replace the warped, molded wood with a new piece I were to make myself?

  • Leslie, (Sorry for the delay in responding.) Thank you so much for your wonderful comment. I am so pleased you enjoyed the recording.

    Regards, J.

  • ThePskie, (Sorry for the delay in responding.) Hear Hear! I heartily agree. Thank you for watching.

    Regards. J.

  • Its not a dem or rep voice but one of the people, and she would be happy to us talking about her song.
