This video is an excellent demonstration of how not to do a mic review. For that, we should be thankful; people should really watch it to learn what not to do.
1. Two mics, same track? Bad form. Not all mics behave the same and you can't EQ one to match another, especially when...
2. You are comparing two different types of mics. Dynamic v. Condenser? And you use them on the same line? No wonder you had feedback.
3. Do you have ANY idea what the front of the MXL looks like???

actually maybe these things has had defects
opened unscrewed capsule and its to the side
still good sound cardiod > dynamic for sensitivity

Hey i dunno how Cubase works so i dunno, you need a phantom powere mixer 48volts and a line in on your pc everything else is the same as any mic when hookingup
