Dreyfuss and Goldblum are sell-outs. That's too bad.
The Chairman of GM was lying. GM got kickbacks from Shell during a "joint venture" to explore hydrogen fuel cells, which are a waste of time. It's a known, proven technology that is way too expensive for mass use. That "joint venture" was just a money flow from Shell. The electric car GM made was never even sold to anyone because it was not offered for sale, only for rent. GM took all the cars back and destroyed them. It's a shame.

turning around> 'dependent on oil' 2 'dependent on terrorists' (that you guys funded too)
arabs don't hate you people. we love you but the way you come to our countries and judge us, while your own economic health AND juristriction system is constantly failing next to this perfect media example of how to blame the world for using 80% of the energy sources...

GM: "electric vehicle was a huge flop; nobody wanted to buy it".
For a highly revealing ànd common sense documentary, which basically proves the opposite, watch 'Who killed the electric car'.

I'm glad Wagoner is gone as GM CEO, no market for an electric car, but hydrogen is the answer. The knock against bio-diesel is it takes more energy to grow it than you get out of it, does anyone know the energy in/energy out numbers for switchgrass? I'd like to become a fuel farmer...

I wanted to buy an EV-1 but they would not sell me one......
-
Wow! If I didn't know better I would say that the gov't was in the pockets of Big Oil!
-
It was also largly contributed to the fact that after the EV1 came out SOMEHOW the government started offering large tax credits to truck and suv purchases. so there was an even larger incentive to not market fuel efficient cars.
Did anyone see "who killed the electric car?" After hearing Richard Wagoner blab on about how it was a "total commercial flop" I burst out laughing. Take the Hummer example too, "we can't tell people what to buy" or "people won't plug in". Again, pure hilarity, a corporation is incapable of telling a "consumer" what to buy?! You've got to be kidding me!

Nobody wanted to buy it?!? I DID but they would not sell me one!
No place to charge it? I have electricity in my house.
The only thing I am not buying is GM's excuses and B.S.
